Manipal Payment & Identity Solutions, one of the largest payment card manufacturers globally and in India, has raised Rs 362.25 crore from 23 anchor investors, including Morgan Stanley, Nomura Singapore, Citigroup and Alchemy, on September 8.
The fundraise came ahead of the Rs 805-crore IPO, which will open for public subscription on September 9. The offer will close on September 11.
The company plans to raise up to Rs 320 crore through a fresh issue of shares at the upper end of the price band of Rs 322-339 per share, while promoter Manipal Technologies is offering shares worth up to Rs 485 crore through an offer-for-sale (OFS).
Edelweiss Life Insurance Company invested Rs 10.01 crore for 2.95 lakh shares, while Sunil Singhania's Abakkus Asset Manager picked up shares worth Rs 40 crore.
New Mark Capital AIF, SageOne, Sanshi Funds, Alpha Alternatives Financial Services, Emerge Capital and SVAN Velocity Fund, among others, also participated in the anchor book.
