SBICAP Securities Limited, a group company of State Bank of India, has partnered with Appreciate Broking IFSC Pvt. Limited to give retail investors access to international markets through the GIFT City IFSC framework.
The arrangement was inaugurated by State Bank of India Chairman Challa Sreenivasulu Setty at the Global Fintech Fest in Mumbai. It allows investors to trade through both India INX GA, a BSE subsidiary, and NSEIXGA, an NSE subsidiary, under a single platform.
Investors can access more than 8,000 US-listed stocks and global ETFs. Fractional investing starts from $1. The platform also plans to offer global mutual funds, thematic portfolios and structured products in later stages.
The route operates under the regulated GIFT City structure. It supports single KYC onboarding, multi-bank remittances and holding of US securities with regulated US custodians. Investors do not need repeated onboarding to access products linked to both exchange subsidiaries.
Baldev Prakash, Managing Director and CEO of SBICAP Securities, said Indian investors are increasingly looking beyond domestic markets for portfolio diversification. The partnership aims to provide a regulated pathway for such access.
