Shares of Enviro Infra Engineers rose nearly 10 percent to a nearly one-month high of Rs 215 on Wednesday after the company said its step-down subsidiary, Suyog Urja, secured a Rs 190-crore engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) turnkey contract from Tata Power Renewable Energy.

The contract is for a 180-MW NTPC wind power project in Parli, Maharashtra.

The project includes the supply of reinforcement steel, geotechnical work and balance of plant operations, comprising a fully equipped 39-acre storage yard, logistics coordination, and construction of site roads, pathways and crane pads.

The positive sentiment was also seen in shares of other companies in the sector.

Shares of VA Tech Wabag rose nearly 7 percent to Rs 2,143.90 per share, while Denta Water and Infra Solutions gained 2 percent to Rs 284.45 per share.
