According to the Zillow lender marketplace, mortgage rates are generally lower today, Thursday, September 10, 2026, than yesterday. The 30-year fixed-rate purchase loan fell 9 basis points to 6.64%; the 15-year fixed purchase loan fell by 1 basis point to 6.04%; and the 5/1 ARM purchase rate drove 30 basis points lower to 6.73%.
