Market veteran Sunil Singhania's Abakkus Investment Managers has acquired a 1.48 percent stake in BlackBuck, the country's largest trucking platform, while promoters have offloaded a 5 percent stake in Jamna Auto Industries, an automotive suspension solutions provider, through open-market transactions on September 11.
BlackBuck shares appeared to react to the block deals, surging 7.21 percent to Rs 628.15 amid heavy trading volumes.
Abakkus Investment Managers acquired 27 lakh shares, representing a 1.48 percent stake in BlackBuck, from Accel India IV (Mauritius) for Rs 155.5 crore. The shares changed hands at Rs 576.05 apiece.
Accel India IV held a 7.17 percent stake, or 1.3 crore equity shares, in BlackBuck as of June 2026, according to the company's shareholding pattern.
