Nestlé is spending more than SFr157m ($194.1m) on "strengthening" Purina pet-food production in Thailand.
The Swiss giant said the investment is in response to rising pet-food demand in Thailand and the rest of Asia.
It will be funneled into its manufacturing site in Rayong, which produces pet food and treats under the Felix, Friskies, Pro Plan, and Purina One brands.
The facility will supply the domestic market and international destinations.
Remy Ejel, CEO of Nestlé's Asia, Oceania and Africa business, said: "Pet food is one of Nestlé's most dynamic segments globally, accounting for around 21% of group sales.
