HIVE Digital Technologies Ltd (TSX:HIVE, NASDAQ:HIVE, FRA:YO0, BVC:HIVECO) earlier this week outlined the expansion of its artificial intelligence infrastructure strategy as Executive Chairman Frank Holmes highlighted a potential GPU cloud pipeline worth more than $1 billion and the appointment of Mark Volk as Senior Vice President of Revenue.
Speaking to Proactive, Holmes said Volk had worked with HIVE for nine months before taking the position full time and had already helped build the potential GPU cloud pipeline.
Holmes said Volk's experience would be important as HIVE scales its data centre operations and seeks to turn computing infrastructure into contracted revenue.
"We have the infrastructure and Mark's going to build that revenue engine for us," Holmes said.
